MOTO NOSTRA  Vespa Chrome Rear Crash Bars Vespa PX80, PX125, PX150, PX200, T5 Classic

Beautifully shaped, classic crash bars for the side panels of all Vespa PX models from 1977 onwards.
The bars protect the paintwork and sheet metal perfectly from bumps and falls.
At the same time, the front bracket offers the pillion rider a comfortable footrest on the footrest rubbers included in the set. Due to the higher storage area for the feet, the seating position is much more comfortable, especially for somewhat smaller passengers.

The brackets consist of four parts:

  • 2x bracket (left + right)
  • 1x front bracket (incl.footrest rubbers)
  • 1x bracket at the rear

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
The front base is screwed together with the screws of the main stand. To do this, these only need to be loosened slightly, the holder is then threaded in and screwed tight again.
The brackets are pushed onto the holder from the side.
TIP: The black bracket sets are provided with a high-quality extra thick powder coating. If necessary, slightly sand the area around the footrest rubbers to make the assembly easier to handle. After mounting, the rubbers cover this area completely. The rear holder is fixed with the lower screws of the license plate holder, the crash bars are attached to the side with two M8 nuts.

PRACTICAL
For inspection and maintenance work, for which the side panels are removed, only the rear M8 nut has to be loosened, the bracket can then simply be folded up/forward.

NOTE: To ensure that the brackets remain permanently silent despite vehicle vibrations, they are mounted with a pre-tension. When mounting, it is therefore normal that the brackets at the rear end are very close together and must be pulled apart slightly.
